Our Story

LifeCert Training Solutions, LLC is a safety training and consultation business providing American Red Cross and Health and Safety Institute training founded by instructor trainer Marcus Porchia in April of 2022.

 

LifeCert started as a local aquatics training and consultation firm in Joliet, IL that has rapidly expanded into offering not just aquatics based training but other services like CPR, BLS, in-service trainings, etc. As a company we have trained thousands of participants across the nation.

 

Our variety of course offerings make us a diverse organization that is continuously growing. We provide our participants with world class and nationally recognized American Red Cross and HSI lifesaving training. 

Meet the Founder and CEO

Marcus Porchia

Marcus serves as the founder and CEO of LifeCert and has an extensive background with 10 years experience in the safety training and recreation industry. Here he has conducted trainings, observations, and safety consultations for multiple facilities around the Midwest. He furthered his education by earning his EMT license and bachelors degree.

When Marcus earned his American Red Cross Lifeguarding Instructor Trainer certification in 2021, he knew he would peruse a career in bringing lifesaving training to as many he could. Today, with the help of all the instructors within the organization his mission is being reached across the country.

Marcus holds instructor trainer certifications from both the American Red Cross and the Health and Safety Institute. He is also a Firefighter/EMT with a local fire department.
